Astroglide had a tough week, they stored text files with around 250.000 customers private data in it on their server, and obviously was indexed by Google. BioFilm, a privately-held California company specializing in sexual lubricants, exposed customer data files dating from 2003 to 2007 to Google's search engine in early April. Google then indexed the pages and made local cache copies. A search on an individual's name now reveals that person's home address and the product they requested or ordered.
Okay the text files are taken down, but you know me. I went a little further to check out their system. I found a far more serious threath which deals with SQL injection. I can steal a lot more and take their whole system down in a few seconds if I wanted to. So I contacted them today and offered them a fix. If they won't respond to my offer I will disclose it here.
