Found this do-it-yourself tutorial on building a 100 inch TV projector for under 20$. The main trick is a simple Fresnel lens that magnifies around 3 tot 4 times without much quality loss, it costs around 2$. You can use an old tube TV model, or use your computer TFT screen to project. A bit of wood, nails, glue, a hacksaw and you are pretty much done. Can't get any cheaper than this! Would be cool to make one, when I find the time of course. These DIY manuals are being sold on eBay for 5$,
