How easy is it to scam people in letting them believe that water should be banned? Well this video by Penn & teller shows that people are really susceptible to stories without understanding that it's only about water. I find such things very interesting because while we talk a lot about phishing and scams online, there are equal scams offline. The mind can be tricked into believing what it wants to believe.




Now after seeing this movie consider this:

I posted this because I want to give some weight back to those people who are into the hype of the day. I'm one of the few people left who still do not believe that global warming is caused by mankind. For the reason that this always has happened. it happened before our ice age. And that it happens right now, is proof that we are on the brink of a new ice age. Also it is known that the sea level was higher before 1904 than it is today. So take a look at the next chart from Wikipedia and what does it say:



It shows that the CO2 level always has been more or less the same back to 400.000 years ago with slightly minute variations. Notice also that this chart prints out a wave like pattern and that only the dust particles has risen. So where is the rise? I can't find it. I see that the temperature is changing every 100.000 years from -8 to 4 degrees. It also shows that it has been hotter before. If I interpret the chart correctly it's like this:

Global warming -> Ice Age -> Global warming -> Ice Age -> Global warming -> Ice Age.

Pretty normal I guess? The temperatures also are pretty constant, though they change more quickly. Absolutely no proof of man caused global warming. Like it always happened that way. So sometimes I question myself: Am I the only one left who does not believe in this new hype? Are we being scammed into signing this global warming petition without knowing how it actually works?
